Indonesian scene has everything--a volcano, palm trees, rice paddies, bale house, rice field, water and inhabitant decked out in pretty batik garb. Signed by the artist too. A happy feeling from this painting!

Termed "Batik Tulis" this artform was done with using melted wax to define an image with little dots and lines, then painting it in. A lot more going on in this one. Crackling the wax creates a lovely effect on the stones and beneath the palms. Just love all the colors and white dots and outlines in this one!
