Island Planet Tropical Clothing

Soaking the rattan so it's easier--not easy, but easier--to slice by hand into very narrow strips, dying the fiber, then while it's still flexible weaving it into shapes. In this case a trio of ovals which are then woven neatly side by side to form a lovely barrette!

These measure about 4"x 1.5". Made completely by hand!
